1924
Our history
D.M.G. Inter College, Daurli was established in 1924 on the ideals of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati. Opportunities for schooling were scarce in the area at the time, and the institution became the first substantial centre of education for the surrounding villages.
The college's history is bound up with the memory of the freedom movement. The campus keeps alive the names of Mahatma Gandhi, Chandrashekhar Azad, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and Lal Bahadur Shastri as a standing reminder of service to the nation.
Today roughly 1,078 students study here under 17 teachers. The college is affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, is government aided, and is co-educational throughout.
